This was great. Without saying too much about it, and thereby spoiling all the lovely twists and turns and whatnots, Seth dies. He drowns. Only then, he wakes up. In a different country. Completely alone. Sort of. Or maybe not. Excellent plotting, great characters, very compelling. Not that I'm surprised: it's Patrick Ness. Who cares that it's a Young Adult title - why should they get all the good stuff?
